Herbes de Provence is a mixture of dried herbs like basil, marjoram, and tarragon, but it’s the dried lavender that gives this blend of summer herbs its unexpected magic. Herbes de Provence is used to flavor grilled foods such as fish, meat and vegetable stews.
The mixture can be added to foods before or during cooking or mixed with cooking oil prior to cooking to infuse the flavor into the cooked food. They are rarely added after cooking is complete. Here are several different recipes to try, I hope you enjoy them.
